Onshore may employ persons both abroad and in the country, and may provide them working visas. The maximum number of employees that may be employed by onshore companies in the UAE depends on the license type and size of the business premises.
Foreign employees may receive working visas through the company in Ras Al Khaimah without a problem, provided that all formal requirements of Ras Al Khaimah are complied with. There are no quota restrictions relating to the number of foreign employees who may come within a year.
When concluding employment contracts all required documents are to be submitted to the administration for FTZ for registration of employees and receiving resident visas. Employment by the company without proper registration may entail serious penalties for companies.
