If the company is offshore – it is required to apply to the registered agent of the company. Any amendment and alteration of the registrar of the offshore company may be executed only through such agent.
If the company is onshore it is possible to apply to the professional consulting company or to perform all necessary action on your own. Liquidation of onshore companies entails the submission of the report on closing date, obtaining certificates of good standing of the company with regard to customs office and other authorities, and closing of company bank accounts.
Before winding-up the company all visas obtained through the company shall be terminated / cancelled.
Closing of the company requires performance of the whole set of procedures and in order to perform all requirements you shall be ready to stay in Ras Al Khaimah from 1 week to 2 weeks.

If the company in Ras Al Khaimah is no longer required for you, we strongly recommend not to neglect the company, but to wind it up in compliance with the applicable rules. Neglected / abandoned company may in future entail different adverse consequences and result in refusal of the UAE visa in future.
